Flight of the Magpie

Magpies are common here in Alaska, as seagulls and pigeons are in other areas.
Some feel they are nothing more than noisy trash picking birds, but I enjoy watching
them as they fly about in their search for food.

Mystic Moose

This moose was walking through the trees in my side yard. Getting a photo of her wasn't easy as she was a bit camera shy. This was early in the day, with heavily overcast skies making the lighting equally tricky.
