I'm not very good at this blogging stuff. I get so busy I forget to post. 2009 went past without me posting a single photo! I apologize for being so remiss, but the year started out badly with me suffering a serious back injury while on my EMT job. I ended up needing surgery to replace to discs in my lower back in October. I'm still recovering, but hope to get out more with my camera in 2010.

Here are a couple photos taken when I was out for a drive one day, heading from Anchorage to Portage.

The rafters were being taught how to manage getting dumped in the cold fast current of the river water.
The glacier is Portage Glacier, which used to be a lot bigger.
